Welcome to Legion Sabers: A Story of Passion, Community, and the Force

At Legion Sabers, our journey didn’t begin with business plans or market strategies—it began with a story. Like many of you, I grew up feeling different, a little lost, and always searching for a place where I could belong. And like so many others, Star Wars was the beacon of light that helped me find my way.

When I was a kid, life wasn’t easy. My family didn’t have much, and while others were wearing the latest brands, I was left with whatever we could find at thrift stores. It wasn’t the shoes that bothered me, though; it was feeling like I didn’t fit in. Then, one summer, my parents separated. I came back from visiting my grandparents to a home that was broken, and soon, we found ourselves struggling even more. Moving to a new school only made things worse—few people showed me kindness, and I quickly became a target. 

But all of that changed on my birthday, May 19, 1999. That was the day The Phantom Menace hit theaters. I walked into class that morning feeling just as lost as ever, but the journal entry on the board caught my attention: “What would your reaction be if instead of class today, we went and saw Star Wars?” The room buzzed with excitement, and before I knew it, we were sneaking out of the building to the theater.

Sitting in that dark theater, watching the mystery of the Force unfold, I finally felt like it was okay to be different. Maybe, like the Jedi, being different meant I was special. From that day, Star Wars became my world. I saw every movie in theaters, including special screenings of the original trilogy, and spent my afternoons in the backyard, pretending to be a Jedi, wielding my Obi-Wan Kenobi lightsaber and jumping on the trampoline like I was using the Force.

As I grew older, I never let go of that sense of wonder. It stayed with me and helped shape the person I became. Eventually, I found my calling as a youth worker, dedicating my time to helping kids who, like me, felt out of place. Every time a new Star Wars movie came out, I rented out a theater and invited students to join me. It wasn’t just about watching a movie—it was about coming together as a community and feeling like we belonged to something bigger.

I never planned to start a lightsaber company. Honestly, sabers found me again by accident. But when they did, I realized that just like when I was a kid, Star Wars was still offering me a way to bring people together, to give them that same sense of belonging. At Legion Sabers, we’re not just selling lightsabers—we’re sharing an experience, a story, a connection.

Our mission is simple: to craft sabers that are not only high-quality but also meaningful. Every saber we create is a symbol of the journey, the struggle, and the triumph that so many of us have experienced. Whether you're a lifelong fan or discovering the Force for the first time, our goal is to make you feel like you’ve found your place—like you belong to something greater.
